ELGIN BOFROST

ELGIN BOFROST

Elgin Bofrost (26/1/1606 - 27/4/1675) was ASO's co-founder. He was born in Odence and his father was the Earl of Villemstad, a title he inherited in 1637. He ran the family business of fur trade from Canada and pasted fish (mainly cod and paddock), having a considerable fleet of fishing ships. His influence in the ASO early works was limited, but as he was a leading figure in Northern Pharos trading, he was influential to many people and politicians in the area. Despite his market innovations, he always sought more income and although his line of profession was usually a safe avenue of investing money, in Bofrost's experience it led to enormous debts.
