EMER LEE

EMER LEE

Emer Lee (26/11/1731 - 25/4/1806) was an ASO Ers Orator. He was born in Queenland, a member of the noble Lee family. He studied under the headmaster Jan Nichol at Queens Boarding School, that was popular to families belonging to the Lyg Party. He became a member of Parliament in 1784, but he was already a member of the ASO, being initiated by Marquis Rok Garten during the ASO's split. When the 2 fractions of the ASO rejoined, Garten stepped down and proposed Lee to become Ers Orator, mainly due to his neutrality and also to his position in the Parliament and the nobility. During his presidency he kept a neutral stance to the American Revolution, although he secretly favoured his protegee Kol Peit. In 1804 he was diagnosed with dropsy and was forced to resign. He died a couple of years later.
