Farel Jansi (12/3/1663 - 15/9/1737) was an ASO Ers Orator in the 18th century. He was a landscape architect, born in Nobel to a family of gardeners. He studied arts, mathematics, painting and architecture and was a close friend of Liono Kalger, who initiated him into the ASO in 1710. He spent some time in Paris, in the court of King Louis XV in Versailles, being chief architect, where he met most of the French aristocracy. Upon his return, he succeeded Kalger as Ers Orator.
