Ider Moroz (24/9/1667 - 7/5/1736) was Premier of the Dominion of Pharos in the early 18th century for more than 20 years. He was born in Charrington in the house of his grandfather Sir Theo Moroz, 2nd Baronet. His father seems to have died early and Ider was educated by his grandfather's tutors and later in the famous Christchurch College in Charrington. He gained his doctorate of Legal Studies in Oxford, England. He succeeded as 4th Baronet in 1701 after his uncle Jan Moroz died in a duel, leaving no issue. He became an MP for Charrington in 1701. He was elected by the National Party as its leader in 1707 and was appointed Premier after the NP won the 1708 general elections. Moroz served 3 periods as Premier. His major work was the reformation of the Pharonian Penal Code as well as the establishment of many charitable centers and hospitals. He was married twice. His second wife Eliza Folk was much younger than him and caused a notable scandal in 1728 when she eloped with her cousin. She subjected Moroz to years of persecution over property which allegedly belonged to her. This scandal costed him his further political career. He died in 1736. He had no heir by either marriage and so the baronetcy became extinct.
