Kon Chiftelov (28/3/1597 - 26/4/1673) was ASO's co-founder and noble man. He was born in Susaco, Russian Empire (now Novorossiysk, Russia), a place Anglo-Saxons refugees occupied since 1100's. His father was Prince Spyridon Chiftelov, a wealthy land owner and merchant in the area with ties in England. His family sold the entire fortune in Russia and moved to London and eventually to Pharos in 1603, buying vast land areas by lake Diacria in Satemberg. He was educated by private tutors and was interested in geography, economics and literature. He was also a competent pianist and spoke French, Russian, Greek and German fluently. After his father's death in 1638 he became Earl of Satemberg. In 1643 he took the initiative to invite the other ASO co-founders in Eptapolis, since he was deeply concerned about the island's future after the civil war in England. After the agreement, he worked vigorously to define the secret statutes and principles of their operation, to clarify the rules concerning the introduction to the ASO of new members, to define their characteristics and the modalities for inception of membership and he introduced means of financing and objectives of its operations. Although Kalger was voted as Ers Orator, Kon Chiftelov was the real spirit and mind behind all operations. He also developed an embryonic intelligence system that would permit the ASO to collect and analyze information from abroad, mainly the British isles, so as to permit timely preparation of their response to any external challenge or danger.
