Nodir Chiftelov (4/7/1780 - 1/12/1853) was an ASO Ers Orator. Born to the famous long standing Chiftelov family in their estate in Satemberg, he was the eldest son and third of six children of Konstantin Chiftelov and Yolanda Pantaaz. He received military education and joined the Royal Navy. After a spell in Canada, he returned to Pharos and was introduced into the ASO by his uncle. He worked as a researcher and was promoted to Orator in 1920. When Peit stepped down in 1828 he was voted unanimously as Ers Orator. He set in motion the voting of the Reform Act, broadening the electoral basis as well as the Relief Act that eradicated minority restrictions. He was the key force behind 2 major events of the first half of 1800's: the Morea Expedition in Greece, lead by his military college friend Karl Nicolas Fabvier, helping Greece's independence and the Maori relocation and settlement in the Hinji area. He secretly bought large areas of land from his own fortune and donated them to the state, using his friend Dokor Lange, whom he helped to be in charge of the leading Commission for the new settlers.
