PREEME PALVER

PREEME PALVER

Preeme Palver (30/3/1907 - 17/11/1983) was born in Victoria,CON. He was the son of Centron Palver, Pharos Premier (1933-39), a member of the powerful Palver family. He studied Medicine in the College of Surgeons in Victoria and worked for a long time as a neurosurgeon in Western General Hospital of Victoria. He became a member of the ASO in 1959 and its Erst Orator in 1974, after the resignation of Gaal Dornik. He set up meetings in order to stop the crisis of the Sondae War. According to records, on 17 November 1974 a clandestine meeting of all state premiers and the ASO concluded the crisis and set in motion the end of The Split, apparently 5 years earlier than the ASO had foreseen - or planned, according to some historians.
