SALVOR NIDRAH

Salvor Nidrah (9/12/1731 - 12/9/1806) was a Pharonian lawyer and politician, who sat as President of the Pharonian Parliament in the late 18th century and was Premier of The Dominion for a short time after Horber Palver's resignation. Born in Eptapolis, Nidrah was the son of Reverent Thius Nidrah. He studied Law in Satemberg and he established a successful legal practice. He turned to politics in 1778 and was elected Member of Parliament for Eptapolis as an independent. He was appointed Attorney General in 1782 and remained in this office for 6 years. In 1794 he was voted Leader of the House in the Pharonian Parliament. When Horber Palver resigned, King George III appointed Nidrah as Premier until the General election day - he served for 32 days. He never married but left 3 illegitimate daughters, one of whom was the wife of Admiral Augustus Knapp.
